Throughout human history, treatment venues have gone through different stages of development. The process that started in caves moved to tents, houses and religious institutions, and over time it created its own spaces. The work focuses on the health institutions of the Anatolian Seljuk and Ottoman states, the two great states of the Turks in Anatolia; It presents a comprehensive study, starting from ancient times, touching on the development, functioning, architecture, history, treatment methods and environmental effects of health places. Elements that make the work different: It examines the architecture-treatment interaction, emphasizes therapeutic elements, and examines medical development on the basis of architecture and treatment methods. It is seen that, starting from ancient times until the end of the Ottoman Empire, attempts were made to contribute to the treatment process of patients with architectural design. Daylight, clean air, green areas, botanical and natural water resources were the elements used for this purpose. It has been seen that this is reflected in architecture in elements such as pools, windows, lighthouses, baths and gardens. Although the purpose of establishment of health places was the same in every period, architectural interpretation, cultural interaction and treatment methods differed.
